SUMMARY
Politics
impacts everyone. And
that's why we all need to get involved. Politics is about
citizenship and caring. It's about putting into action your beliefs in
how society should function for the good of us all. It's an ongoing competition between
people and ideas. But, politics is about
more than just "talking the talk"; it's about "walking the walk".
And that's why we have political parties.
Political
parties are critical to a responsive government. They are the place
where we meet to discuss issues, recruit candidates, run elections,
promote or oppose legislation, and hold our government accountable. That's
not to say that political parties are perfect. Far from it. They are
always evolving. And,
that's why they need our help to do what's right, work together, and not
go off the deep end into crazyland, complacency, or corruption. We need
a political party system to keep each other honest...or at least try to.
But they can't do a good job without active and robust public participation.
Right now, America is
in crisis. The
Democratic Party has embraced a one-world government "globalist" position
through their support of open borders and their allegiance to international authorities.
Democrats have been systematically dismantling our democracy
and sovereignty
by supporting
illegal immigration (aka invasion) & sanctuary cities (aka insurrection
cities), drug & human traffickers, common criminals & political
terrorists, a costly health care system together with mandated
vaccinations and lock-downs, free-but-not-fair trade resulting in a
dangerous dependency on foreign imports, a failed public education
curriculum, discrimination & censorship, and most critically - an
easy-to-rig voting system. That said, we can learn from some of the Dems'
ideas, including lowering the cost of living, public health care with a
private option, and protecting the
environment.
Today's Republican Party
has taken a stand for "common sense", based
on the democratic principles of free speech & fair laws, public safety & voting integrity, government transparency
& accountability,
secure borders & legal immigration, capitalism and competition, effective education & meritocracy, plus protecting our local jobs, health, and resources.
It's about equal opportunities, not
equal outcomes. The GOP is not
perfect, and we disagree on certain issues, but we agree on our core "common sense"
values and the need to protect and promote them. It's an
endless but necessary battle to do what's right for everyone's benefit.
But we can't do it alone.
We need the public to get off the sidelines and get involved. Because
politics impacts everyone.

About President
Trump: As a populist
president, Trump has strongly led the Republican Party in a bold, new,
and better direction. His endless energy and fierce dedication to our
country is beyond impressive, as well as his many major accomplishments. However, he has also been very polarizing.
It's part of the package that
is Trump. At the end of the day,
President Trump has done a fantastic job and he urgently needs and
deserves our
support to keep up the momentum.

| REPUBLICAN
POSITION |
DEMOCRAT
POSITION |
|
1. GOVERNMENT:
Republicans support "common sense" government based on transparency,
efficiency, and accountability; plus a voting system that is
verifiable by using citizen ID, paper ballots, & hand counts at local polls
on election day. |
GOVERNMENT: Democrats
support a "faith-based" government, relying on ineffective oversight
and resulting in widespread failure and corruption; plus a unverifiable voting system that
places convenience over security and integrity. |
|
2. PUBLIC SAFETY & NATIONAL SECURITY:
Republicans support the independence and safety of our nation and its
citizens through a strong military, secure borders, legal immigration, gun ownership, and the full
& effective enforcement of our domestic laws. Republicans also support the
building of long-term, secure and caring, facilities for the mentally disabled and drug addicted. |
PUBLIC
SAFETY & NATIONAL SECURITY: Democrats support a one-world
globalist government and the destruction of nation-states through open
borders, Sanctuary Cities, a weak military, police, and district attorneys,
which includes the non-enforcement of laws. As a
result, Democratic-run cities are plagued with crime, drug addicts, & the mentally-ill homeless. |
|
3. CIVIL RIGHTS:
Republicans support free speech, equal application of the law, civil rights
for all, including equal opportunity and a meritocracy based on performance, not
on
personal characteristics or beliefs. Republicans also support protecting
biological females in female sports and places, such as restrooms, locker
rooms, and showers, including the enforcement of indecent exposure laws. |
CIVIL
RIGHTS: Democrats support censorship and discrimination
(DEI-diversity, equity, & inclusion) which is unconstitutional, as it gives
preferential treatment to various groups and individuals based on their
ethnicity, sex, and sexual preference. Democrats also support biological
males, who identify as females, in female sports and in female spaces. |
|
4. EDUCATION:
Republicans support making our public schools successful again, parents'
rights, student merit, school choice, plus
making colleges and
skills training affordable. Editor: In general, schools are not
providing students with a high quality well-rounded education, so that
students learn knowledge as well as low-to-high-tech skills, including fun
activities: choir, band, plays, etc.. |
EDUCATION:
Democrats support teachers unions and school board members who have focused
on political indoctrination and discrimination through preferential DEI
programs, while violating students' rights, as well as parents' rights regarding their
children's wellbeing & sexual identity; rather than focus on teaching an effective
curriculum to raise students' academic and over-all performance. |
|
5. HEALTHCARE:
Republicans support science-based medicine and cutting costs for
prescription drugs by encouraging domestic production & through other
incentives, no medical mandates, and a ban on minors "transitioning". Pres
Trump suggested direct payments to patients, bypassing insurance companies,
which are, too often, dictating to doctors how to treat their patients, and
whose Big Pharma drugs can contaminate drinking water supplies. Editor: Isn't it time for serious consideration of
public health care with a private option? |
HEALTHCARE:
Democrats support costly insurance-run health care plans, medical mandates
for vaccines, mask wearing, and lockdowns; as well as the introduction of
health care specialists in public schools - who many fear will encourage
students to take medications & therapy against the wishes of their parents.
Federal health agencies, under previous Democratic and Republican
administrations, protected their personal and corporations' fiscal assets at
the expense of public health. Editor: That conflict of
interest needs to end. |
|
6. ENERGY & THE ENVIRONMENT:
Republicans support all-the-above sources of energy with a strong emphasis
on fossil fuels and nuclear power. Editor:
Both
parties should consider supporting a government-funded & directed "Manhattan Project" to find clean energy
sources, because fossil fuels are a major source of toxic substances which
result in widespread and serious harmful health effects for both people and
the planet. |
ENERGY & THE ENVIRONMENT:
Democrats support solar and wind energy to the catastrophic exclusion of
fossil fuels and nuclear energy, which caused power outages and rising
costs. Plus, wind turbines contributed to a high death rate of birds and
whales. Democrats publicly support environmental protection, but continue to
allow the use of unnecessary toxic chemicals which cause widespread
contamination of
the environment and in the marketplace. |
|
7. PUBLIC
UTILITIES: Republicans have not addressed this subject
explicitly, but they do support robust investment in infrastructure,
deregulation, and tax incentives. Editor: There is
popular support for public ownership of "public utilities" as they
are vital to national security and include: roads, bridges, airports,
seaports, power plants, water & waste treatment, and communications systems. |
PUBLIC UTILITIES: Democrats do not explicitly address in their platform the public
ownership of public utilities, but they do propose infrastructure upgrades
and a wide array of financial assistance programs to include targeted
assistance to low income and 'historically
disadvantaged communities', the latter of which could be in violation of federal anti-discrimination
laws. |
|
8. JOBS, TRADE, & MONOPOLIES:
Republicans support an entrepreneurial independent spirit, cutting needless
regulations, reviving our manufacturing base, protecting American jobs, the
right to unionize, and
bringing back jobs to the U.S. through fair trade, tariffs, and
other incentives. However, as Wall Street has thrived, Main Street
and local supply systems have been destroyed by monopolies, such as "chain"
businesses, that operate at an unfair advantage over local small businesses.
Editor: Congress should break up most monopolies. |
JOBS, TRADE, & MONOPOLIES:
Democrats support the growth of government and nonprofit jobs, strikes by
public-sector unions, illegal
immigrant employment, and "free trade" which allows imports to undermine our
nation's financial and literal independence, while not protecting American
businesses from common retail theft and monopolies. The Democratic Party took some
anti-trust actions under President Biden, but over-all, these steps have not
resulted in a noticeable revival of Main Street and the protection of
American jobs and small
businesses. |
|
9. COST OF LIVING:
Republicans support lowering prices on food, energy, and consumer goods by
increasing production and bringing back U.S. manufacturing through tariffs;
cutting needless regulations; and providing affordable education and
training for professional and skilled workers. Editor: To ensure local
access to the necessities of life, Republicans can increase "local self-reliance" by promoting
small farms, cottage industries & the use of our
wild resources. |
COST OF LIVING:
The Democratic support government-mandated minimum wage increases, yet take
no responsibility for the result; lower healthcare cost, yet want to
continue the costly ObamaCare; lower energy costs, yet require costly
unreliable solar and wind energy; and housing.
Democrats advocate for policies that increase the supply of essential goods
and services, but do nothing to protect American workers from imports and
illegal aliens. |
|
10. HOUSING & LAND:
Republicans support across-the-board
tax incentives and lower interest rates to keep the cost of housing down;
cutting red tape to build more homes; while also investigating the disturbing increase in foreign and
corporate ownership of our land, houses, and farms, which has driven up
costs.
Editor: It's time to end foreign ownership of U.S. property. |
HOUSING & LAND:
Democrats have not requested that the
FED lower interest rates. Dems support the building of low income housing
through government subsidies, but all-to-often these projects result in
substandard housing, concentrating low income populations, that become
unsafe areas for all concerned. Both parties are concerned about foreign &
corporate land ownership. |
|
11. TAXES
& NON-PROFITS:
Republicans support lower taxes, however this has resulted in historic
wealth concentration. No tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security, plus
expanding the Child Tax Credit, have been proposed. Editor: Tax deductions
for the wealthy, businesses, and non-profits need to be reviewed as they increase the tax burden on the middle class. In
Philly, over 23,000 properties are owned by the gov't or nonprofits,
totaling
about
$29.6 billion. |
TAXES
& NON-PROFITS:
Democrats support more progressive
taxes on incomes over $250,000; expanding the Child Tax Credit; and in
Philly taxing - the market value of homes - which is driving many low income
residents out of their neighborhoods. To prevent wealth concentration, Dems
oppose lower taxes on capital gains and the repeal of the estate tax, which
affects estates exceeding $13.61 million. Editor: The Dems have a point. |
|
12. FEDERAL RESERVE / INTEREST RATES
/ WALL STREET: Some Republicans support a more responsive Federal
Reserve, but many other Republicans support ending it, calling the Fed a violation of
Article 1 Sec.8 of the U.S. Constitution which states that only the federal
government, not banks, has the power "to coin money and regulate the value
thereof". / Both parties propose a cap on credit card interest rates
to a proposed 10%. / Wall Street encourages "casino capitalism" by
allowing hedge funds, derivatives, junk bonds, options, and the like.
Editor: It's time to end Wall
Street's
casino capitalism. |
FEDERAL RESERVE / INTEREST RATES
/ WALL STREET: Democrats support the "independence" of the Fed,
which is a consortium of banks, who control
the creation of money through their member banks. When banks create money,
it begins as government debt; which does not occur when government creates
money. Banks can borrow from each other, fail, and then add their massive
debts to the national debt without any meaningful limit or under any
effective federal oversight. / Democrats want more control over Wall Street,
but are not suggesting ending the use of questionable practices that amount
to gambling, not investing. |
